Esports function aims to inspire local underserved youth

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Wooden) — The founder of a Grand Rapids nonprofit is hunting to extend esports possibilities for the city’s underserved youth. 

Deandre ‘Dee’ Jones is the Chief Energy Officer of the Grand Rapids nonprofit Leap Forward L3C, which functions with area underserved youth by way of provider learning tasks.

“My objective is genuinely to just generate the best of the ideal alternatives that we can for our local community, for our students, for generations of learners to come, and do it equitably, good and just,” Jones said.
